Boston Engagement Photos

I have always loved the beach during winter and so I was thrilled when Michelle and Jason inquired about doing a winter beach engagement session with me.

The beaches we shot at were mostly empty and though is was cold and windy, the cloudy sky and whitecaps made for the most romantic background.

Also, the beaches are located in Gloucester which was so fun to explore! I had never been there before and had no idea just how beautiful the beaches are. I can’t wait to shoot there again in the future and in different seasons!

We shot at two locations with an outfit change in between. Michelle and Jason did an excellent job not only coordinating their outfits with each other, but with the backdrop as well.

The white and different shades of blue provided the perfect colors for that cinematic feel we were going for.

At our next location, the sand was a little lighter which went beautifully with Michelle and Jason’s outfit change.

The sun was just starting to set which provided a softer feel and also hid the reality of how cold it really was. Both Michelle and Jason did this part of the session without shoes (or complaining) which was impressive to me! All of the running back and forth I made them do may have helped keep them warm too :)

I absolutely loved getting to know Michelle and Jason through our initial consultation call, their questionnaire responses, and the photo shoot itself.

I feel so lucky to have been given the opportunity to capture their love - photos that feel like scenes from a movie for a love story fit for the big screen.
